Robert Boykin, 53; and Ronda Boykin, 51, Injured in Turlock Fatal Car Accident
TURLOCK, CA (August 30, 2020) – Two people injured after a fatal traffic collision at Crows Landing Road and Linwood Avenue on Saturday have been identified.
Officers said Robert Paul Boykin, 53; and Ronda Boykin, 51, sustained minor injuries following the tragic accident on August 29.
The incident began when the two Gilroy residents were riding a blue 2007 Chevrolet Silverado north on Crows Landing Road, approaching Linwood Avenue.
At the same time, a maroon 2006 Toyota Tacoma was going west on Linwood approaching Crows Landing. The Toyota then failed to stop or even slow and entered the intersection.

In the process, the front of the Chevy driven by Robert Boykin collided with the left side of the Tacoma. Both vehicles ultimately spun out of control upon impact.
Paramedics took Robert and Ronda Boykin to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto for treatment. The man complained of back and chest pain while the woman complained of neck and back pain.
According to The Modesto Bee, California Highway Patrol determined that the 37-year-old Turlock man driving the Toyota died at the scene. The wreck occurred at about 10:54 a.m.
Meanwhile, authorities have not yet released the name of the deceased motorist pending notification of family. The fatal incident remains under investigation.
