Robert Ceda III, 23, Injured After Car Hits Tree on Highway 50 Friday
PLACERVILLE, Ca (July 6, 2019) – A passenger suffered injuries following a traffic collision caused by a suspected DUI driver on Highway 50.
According to KCRA News, 22-year-old Walter Moreno was behind the wheel of a vehicle traveling west on SR-50. Due to the driver’s alleged intoxication, he lost control of his car and spun out. Consequently, the vehicle2 left the roadway and ended up crashing into a tree.
Officials later identified the front right passenger as 23-year-old Robert Ceda III. Our sources indicated Ceda suffered serious injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics transported the patient to Sutter Roseville Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police reportedly arrested Moreno following the collision on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and causing an injury.
