Deadly Traffic Collision Near Highland Springs Avenue
Beaumont, CA (August 16, 2022) – Robert Colarossi, a 51-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a car accident that occurred on the Interstate 10 Freeway.
On Tuesday, two vehicles collided on the freeway near Highland Springs Avenue. KESQ News published an article online reporting a woman driving a Jeep Compass heading west on the interstate in Beaumont. Our sources indicated the female motorist experienced unknown mechanical problems, and eventually lost the power of her vehicle. Officials said the driver, and her child stepped out of the disabled car and climbed over the K-rail along the south side of the highway.
Fatal Car Accident on Interstate 10 in Beaumont
Authorities said the driver of an oncoming Kia Forte was unable to slow down as he approached the stopped Jeep. The force from the impact resulted in fatal injuries to the driver of the Kia. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department identified the deceased as Robert Colarossi, of Banning.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident that happened on Interstate 10 in Beaumont.
