Robert Colter Victim in Hit-and-Run Accident on Gardena Road
LOCATION: Lakeside, San Diego County
DATE OF COLLISION: Monday, October 8th
October 8, 2018 – Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run collision on Gardena Road Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol group.
As per the CHP dispatch, a man identified as Robert Colter reportedly noticed a car heading into the direction of her mother, who was possibly a pedestrian near the 8752 block of Gardena Road.
Officials said Colter ran to push his mother, and both parties apparently ended up being hit by the vehicle. The impact resulted in unknown extent of injuries to both Colter and his mother.
At this time, the identities of the victims and their conditions remained unknown.
CHP logged the incident as a hit-and-run collision but no immediate information was released on the suspect.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
