Motorcyclist Robert Hinrichs Killed in Crash on Blackstone Avenue
FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2020) — Robert Hinrichs, 61, of Fresno, died and his passenger was injured Tuesday night in a solo motorcycle accident on Blackstone Avenue.
The Fresno County Coroner’s Office identified the Hinrichs as the man who died after his motorcycle crashed into a tree in north Fresno.
The collision was reported at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, according to the coroner.
Furthermore, a female passenger who was riding on the back of Hinrichs’ motorcycle was hurt. She was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the crash took place as the pair were driving southbound on Blackstone Avenue. As the motorcycle neared Bullard Avenue, Hinrich lost control and hit a curb. After that, the bike slammed into a tree in front of the Office Depot store.
Finally, Fresno police are investigating the collision to find out what set it off.
