Robert Lang Dies in Adolfo and Tahquitz Crash

Officials identified Lang as the driver of a white Saturn which crashed into a black Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection. The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on July 25.
As per the article, the incident took place when Lang’s Saturn entered the intersection from a stop sign on southbound Tahquitz Road. The Saturn then collided with a passing black Chevrolet Silverado which was traveling west on Adolfo Road at the time.
Camarillo Fatal Car Accident
Paramedics reported that Lang, of Camarillo, was transported to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center in Thousand Oaks where he was listed in critical condition. On Wednesday evening, Lang succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Newbury Park man driving the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.
There are still several unanswered factors at this time—was any of the driver under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the accident? Did excessive speed or distracted driving play a role? Was there a violation of traffic signal involved? We trust officials are looking into these and other factors in order to determine precisely what occurred in this fatal car crash.
