Teen Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Collision on Main Gate Road
Novato, CA (December 15, 2022) – Police arrested 74-year-old Robert Armond Lombardi in relation with a hit-and-run pedestrian accident that occurred on Main Gate Road, the Marin Independent Journal News reported.
On December 11, Sunday, a 19-year-old was struck by a vehicle near the Hamilton SMART station. The force from the impact resulted in serious injuries to the pedestrian. According to the article published online, responding paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment and further evaluation. Personal information on the patient remained undisclosed pending confirmation.

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver involved in the collision fled the scene. On Monday, police spotted the suspect vehicle, a silver Lexus. Authorities eventually arrested the hit-and-run driver, Robert Armond Lombardi; and booked him into Marin County Jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run; as well as drug and paraphernalia possession.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
