Bicycle Rider Killed in Crash Near Airport is ID’d
LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Nov. 1, 2023) – Robert Mack, 60, died in a bicycle accident Sunday night on Imperial Highway near Los Angeles International Airport.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified the man on its website.
The crash occurred at around 8:35 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30th near California Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver of an eastbound vehicle hit the bicycle rider as it crossed southbound on Imperial, police said.
The motorist pulled over and stopped after the crash and is cooperating with authorities.
The cause of the crash and liability will be determined.
