Rider Dies in Traffic Collision at Pomona Freeway and Central Avenue Saturday
Chino, CA (September 11, 2021) – Robert Max Deleon Sr., a Fullerton resident, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the area of State Route 60 and Central Avenue.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department reported Robert Deleon was riding motorcycle traveling at an unknown direction on SR-60, also known as Pomona Freeway. When the man approached the area near Central Avenue, he collided with another vehicle. The make and model of the car involved in the collision remained unknown at this time.
Deadly Motorcycle Crash in Chino, September 11
Shortly after 12:45 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the location. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the motorcyclist but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died.
Authorities confirmed the identity of the deceased as Robert Max Deleon Sr.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the other driver involved in the incident.
Further investigation on the case is underway.
