Fatal Traffic Collision at Highway 154 at Foxen Canyon Road
Los Olivos, CA (April 18, 2023) – Robert Stoik, a 53-year-old man, died following a motorcycle accident that occurred in the area of Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road.
On April 16, Sunday, a collision between a 2021 Aprilia Tuono motorcycle and a 2021 Ford Mustang took place at the intersection in Los Olivos. The Noozhawk News reported Stoik was riding a motorcycle heading east on SR-154. When the motorcyclist entered the crossing, it was struck by a Mustang making a left turn from southbound Foxen Canyon Road.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Los Olivos
The force from the impact ejected the rider onto the roadway. According to the article published online, a bystander performed CPR to the injured motorcyclist before emergency crews arrived. An ambulance later transported the victim to Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, where the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Authorities later identified the deceased as Robert Stoik, of Freedom, California.
Meanwhile, the Mustang driver appeared unharmed after the incident.
Investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the precise cause of the fatal crash that happened at Highway 154 and Foxen Canyon Road in Los Olivos.
