Deadly Traffic Collision Near Dickenson Avenue
Fresno, CA (April 18, 2022) – Roberto Hernandez, a 40-year-old man, died following a car accident that occurred on Highway 180 on April 15.
The Fresno Bee News reported two vehicles collided on the highway between Fresno and Kerman Friday evening. Preliminary investigation revealed Hernandez was behind the wheel of a Honda Civic traveling east on SR-180. When Hernandez approached the area near South Dickenson Avenue, he allowed the Honda to veer into the westbound lane.
Driver Dies in Fresno Car Accident on Highway 180
According to the article published online, the eastbound Honda ended up crashing into a westbound pickup truck. The catastrophic incident took place at about 8:25 p.m.
First responders found the driver of the Honda unconscious. Despite life-saving measures performed by paramedics, Roberto Hernandez sadly succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck appeared unharmed after the collision.
Investigators continue to work to determine several unclear factors surrounding the fatal accident on Highway 180 in Fresno.
