Roberto Perez, 45, Killed Sun Valley Hit-and-Run at Strathern and Bellingham
SUN VALLEY (October 11, 2018) – A bicyclist killed after an alleged hit-and-run crash at Strathern Street and Bellingham Avenue has been identified as Roberto Perez, according to The Daily News.
The 45-year-old Panorama City man was a victim in a tragic accident which occurred on October 7 at about 8:30 p.m.
As per the article, officials said the bicycle that Perez was either riding or walking with was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Strathern Street and Bellingham Avenue.

Perez was propelled onto the pavement or sidewalk and was left lying on the ground with severe injuries. He was then transported to a hospital where he later died.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. Witnesses described the suspect car as an SUV which initially stopped about eight feet ahead but ultimately sped off after hitting the cyclist.
