Roberto Rodriguez, 26, Killed in Long Beach Crash Near Magnolia and Hill

LONG BEACH, CA (January 31, 2023) – Roberto Rodriguez was killed after a crash near Magnolia Avenue and Hill Street in Long Beach.

The coroner’s office identified the 26-year-old man as the victim of the fatal wreck which took place on Sunday.

The incident happened when Roberto Rodriguez was driving a 1996 Toyota Camry south on Magnolia Avenue in Long Beach. At the same time, a 2021 Hyundai Sonata was traveling at a high rate of speed north.

Speeding Driver Hits Another Car

Police said the Hyundai the struck the Toyota near Hill Street. The impact of the collision pushed the Toyota into several parked vehicles in the area.

The Long Beach Post and My News LA, wrote that the accident occurred on January 29 shortly after 4 a.m. Roberto Rodriguez died at the scene of the crash.

Police added that the driver of the Sonata, a Downey man, sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the wreck. Medical personnel rushed him to a hospital and listed him in critical condition.
