Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester Road Saturday
Temecula, CA (January 23, 2022) – Robin Kropp, a 54-year-old woman, died following a pedestrian accident that occurred in the area of Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester Road.
The Orange County Register News reported a big rig struck a female party at the busy intersection in Temecula. According to the article published online, the horrible crash took place at approximately 4 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed the truck operator was making a right hand turn from the westbound side of Murrieta Hot Springs on to Winchester. At about the same time, the pedestrian stepped from the northeast corner of the intersection into the crosswalk. The big rig driver did not notice and hit the woman.
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they found the pedestrian unconscious. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but they sadly succumbed to their injuries and died. Authorities later identified the deceased as Robin Kropp.
The truck driver appeared unharmed after the incident.
At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the deadly accident at Murrieta Hot Springs and Winchester.
