SYLMAR, California (Feb. 22, 2017) – Robin Rustic, 35, was killed in a hit-and-run car crash Tuesday night at Glenoaks and Foothill boulevards, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported about 6:16 p.m. last night. The young woman died of her injuries a the scene of the crash.
The driver was in a dark-colored sedan that is likely to have front-end damage. The suspect fled the scene without stopping to help the victim as required under California law.
Police closed down the intersection to conduct a full investigation into the crash in an effort to find evidence that may lead to the capture of the hit-and-run suspect.
