1 Injured in Rocklin Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 65 Near Blue Oaks
ROCKLIN, CA (October 10, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 65 near Blue Oaks Boulevard in Rocklin.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident early Sunday morning. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck shortly before 4 a.m.
CHP found a vehicle which rolled onto its side on the southbound Highway 65 in Rocklin. The accident took place just north of Blue Oaks Boulevard.
Victim Trapped in Overturned Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated a trapped female occupant from the wreckage.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries she sustained in the incident. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the southbound lanes of Highway 65 to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Rocklin hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
