Juvenile Riding Moped or Dirt Bike Hit by Pickup
ROCKLIN, Calif. (Jan. 9, 2025) — A juvenile riding a motorcycle or moped was injured in a Rocklin car accident Thursday afternoon on Sierra College Boulevard at Delmar Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials first reported a juvenile riding a dirt bike and a red Dodge pickup truck collided, but then described the bike as a moped.
Paramedics responded and transported the injured rider to a hospital with undisclosed injuries and a tow truck came to remove the bike from the roadway.
The pickup truck driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the accident on Sierra College Boulevard in Rocklin.
