ROCKLIN, Calif. (Nov. 7, 2017) — A fiery crash was reported Tuesday morning on the Stanford Ranch Road exit from the State Route 65 Freeway, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The crash took place about 9:54 a.m. this morning when a white 2006 Mazda sedan and a black SUV collided. Prior to the collision, police say the white vehicle was reportedly swerving, changing lanes and at some point crashed into a light pole. The Mazda’s engine caught on fire igniting a small brush fire.
The driver got out of the burning vehicle and paramedics were called to respond for unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by police to determine liability.
