At Least 1 Injured After Car Crash on 80 Freeway
RODEO, Contra Costa County (May 9, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run collision occurred Wednesday evening on the Interstate 80 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:13 p.m., CHP logged a road accident involving a vehicle that overturned as a result of the crash. That automobile landed on its roof at the embankment on the freeway near Willow Avenue onramp.
Our sources identified two parties possible involved in the accident–William Fresken, and Lily Velasquez. CHP mentioned the names in the dispatch, but their precise roles in the wreck remained unclear.
Following an initial investigation, medical teams determined at least one person suffered injuries in the accident. Authorities did not immediately disclose the identity of the patient.

Meanwhile, police said they are investigating as a hit-and-run. The reasons for the action was not discussed.
