Man, 76, Identified as Acton Crash Victim
ACTON, Calif. (Oct. 2, 2024) – Roderick Thomas, 76, was killed and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at Sierra Highway and San Gabriel Avenue in Acton
It happened around 6:27 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a white Nissan Sentra and a dark-colored pickup truck collided due to unknown circumstances. The violent crash left the Nissan split in half and its driver dead on the scene. He was later identified as Roderick Thomas.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and located the second driver with injuries and transported the motorist to a hospital for treatment.
The cause and liability for the deadly crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
