The accident was reported about 5:40 p.m. in the area of San Fernando Boulevard and Olive Avenue.
As per the article, police found 52-year-old Burbank resident Rodolfo Tan trapped underneath a minivan. He was pulled out and was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
Police said a 33-year-old Glendale man was apparently speeding west on Olive Avenue when his van sideswiped a parked vehicle and continued onto the eastbound lanes at San Fernando where he struck Tan.
The minivan ended up on a sidewalk, pinning Tan near a bus stop.

Paramedics on scene affirmed that the motorist had sustained a stab wound to the chest prior to the accident. He was hospitalized and was listed in critical condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
