Rohnert Park Officer Injured in Crash at Country Club and Eleanor

2-Vehicle Collision at Country Club Drive and Eleanor Avenue

Rohnert Park, CA (December 10, 2022) – A Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officer suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Country Club Drive and Eleanor Avenue.

On Thursday, a marked patrol vehicle collided with an SUV at the intersection in Rohnert Park. The CBS and Press Democrat News reported the deputy was heading north on Country Club. When the officer drove through the crossing at Eleanor, a Lexus SUV also entered the intersection. The two vehicles crashed into each other at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Officer Hospitalized After Accident in Rohnert Park

Medical personnel later responded to the accident scene. After paramedics evaluated the conditions of the two drivers, they requested an ambulance to transfer the injured deputy to a hospital. The name of the injured officer, and their condition at this time have not been discussed thus far.

Meanwhile, the Lexus driver reportedly appeared unharmed after the collision.

Detectives stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened at Country Club Drive and Eleanor Avenue in Rohnert Park.
