Rollover Crash Highway 49, Cosgrave Road in Calaveras County

2-Vehicle Crash Involving Pickup and Solar Van

CALAVERAS COUNTY, Calif. (Oct. 7, 2024) — A rollover crash on Highway 49 happened Monday near Cosgrave Road north of Angels Camp in Calaveras County.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred at 1:42 p.m. on Oct. 7th, according to the California Highway Patrol report.

A black or dark grey Dodge pickup truck reportedly collided with a commercial solar van and overturned onto its side.

It’s unknown what led up to the accident at this time, but paramedics responded to help those injured and tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash and the roadway is being cleared of debris.
