2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99 in Wilson, South of Yuba City
YUBA CITY, Calif. (August 18, 2022) — Two vehicles collided on Highway 99, just north of Wilson Road in the Wilson area, just south of Yuba City.
The crash occurred in the northbound lanes about 11:20 a.m. on August 18th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A white Ford Econoline van reportedly overturned into a nearby orchard after a collision with another motorist. The CHP reported one of the two vehicles drove through a red light and caused the wreck.
One person suffered a major injury in the collision and at least one of the people had a hand injury.
A tow truck removed one of the vehicles from the crash site.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault.
