2-Vehicle Collision in Richmond Area of San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (August 30, 2023) — One vehicle overturned in a two-vehicle crash at Geary Boulevard and 27th Avenue in the Richmond area of San Francisco.
The collision between a pickup and a van occurred around 5:28 p.m. on August 29th, according to KRON.
The San Francisco Police Department reported a driver in a red pickup truck was traveling down 27th Avenue when they allegedly drove through a red traffic light. The motorist collided with a large white van that was traveling on Geary Boulevard. The van reportedly overturned onto its driver side after it was hit by the pickup truck.
Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the driver of the overturned vehicle to a hospital as a precaution, but there were no serious injuries.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault for the crash.
