One Hospitalized After Vehicle Rollover Crash in Stockton Intersection

STOCKTON, Calif. (April 27, 2026) — One person was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries following a rollover crash Monday afternoon involving an ambulance at Benjamin Holt Drive in Stockton, authorities said.

The collision was reported on April 27th around 12:36 p.m. at West Benjamin Holt Drive and Leesburg Place. Initial reports indicated an ambulance, a white SUV, and a black pickup truck were involved in the crash.

According to dispatch logs, the ambulance overturned and came to rest on its side, blocking eastbound lanes of West Benjamin Holt Drive. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the incident was initially classified as a no-injury crash before being upgraded to one involving minor injuries.

Paramedics transported at least one patient to San Joaquin General Hospital with what were described as moderate injuries.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles, including the overturned vehicle, and clear the roadway. Traffic in the area was impacted as crews worked to reopen lanes.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
