2-Vehicle Collision on I-5 Freeway at French Camp Road
STOCKTON, Calif. (May 28, 2021) — A rollover crash near French Camp Road on the Interstate 5 Freeway Friday morning resulted in major injuries.
The crash happened about 5:45 a.m. on the freeway near the French Camp Road on ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It’s unknown what caused the crash, but at least two vehicles were reportedly involved.
Vehicle Overturns in Crash in French Camp Area
A white vehicle involved overturned onto its roof during the collision with a brown Toyota Highlander SUV. One person from the vehicle was thrown out into the No. 2 lane and was critically injured. Another person became trapped in the vehicle in the No. 2 lane.
Paramedics responded due to major injuries reported following the rollover crash.
Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert after traffic backed up from the I-5 and Highway 4 connector through French Camp Road.
