3 Injured in Solo Car Accident
TEHAMA COUNTY, Calif. (May 19, 2023) – Three people suffered injuries in a rollover crash on the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway near the Jellys Ferry Road off ramp, north of Red Bluff.
The California Highway Patrol Red Bluff station reported the collision around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 18th.
Police officers responded to a the northbound Interstate 5 Freeway and located an overturned Honda sedan occupied by three people. Paramedics transported all three people to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
It’s unknown at this time what caused the collision, but it remains under investigation by the CHP.
The slow lane of the I-5 Freeway was blocked by emergency responders until around 4 p.m.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Interstate 5 Freeway crash.
