SUV and Truck in Crash on Ventura 101 Freeway

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2024) — A two-vehicle rollover crash happened Monday on the southbound Ventura 101 Freeway, just north of Camarillo Springs Road in Camarillo.

The collision occurred at around 9:20 a.m. on Feb. 26th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a black Acura MDX SUV collided with a truck in the slow lane and then overturned on the freeway.

Paramedics responded to help at least one person injured in the collision and emergency vehicles were blocking the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes of Ventura Freeway.

One person from the SUV was transported to Los Robles Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries and investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the Ventura 101 Freeway.
