Ronald Kistle Killed After Dirt Bike Accident on U.S. Forest Service Road 46N22

September 16, 2018 – One person was killed in a traffic collision on U.S. Forest Service Road 46N22 Thursday noon, according to a local news source.
The fatality was identified as 44-year-old Ronald Kistle, of Yreka.
As per the article, Kistle was traveling on a Suzuki dirt bike uphill on U.S. Forest Service Road 46N22. When Kistle rounded a curve in the road, he crashed into a 1969 Dodge truck driving down the hill. Primary reports indicated Kistle suffered a fractured leg, and was initially responsive after the crash. Authorities said due to the lack of phone service in the area, Kistle succumbed to his injuries before paramedics arrived.

Meanwhile, officials identified the Dodge driver as 44-year-old Amber Roberts. Roberts was reportedly taken into custody for driving a stolen vehicle and for an outstanding warrant.
