Ronald William Phelps II, 39, Fatal Victim in Traffic Collision Near Viera Avenue Wednesday
Antioch, CA (August 25, 2021) – Ronald William Phelps II, a 39-year-old man, died following a road accident that occurred on Wilbur Avenue Wednesday morning.
According to the East Bay Times, Ronald Phelps was riding a mini All Terrain Vehicle traveling in the streets of Antioch. When the man approached the area near Viera Avenue, he collided with a pickup truck.

Primary reports indicated the force from the impact ejected Ronald Phelps onto the roadway. Shortly after 5:30 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the site. First responders found the man unconscious on the ground. Despite life-saving measures, Ronald Phelps succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.
Meanwhile, officials mentioned the driver of the pickup truck remained in the area.
Detectives stayed at the crash site the whole morning. At this time, investigators continue to determine the precise cause of the deadly ATV accident in Antioch.
