Fatal Collision Near 37th Street East
Palmdale, CA (July 12, 2022) – Ronald Rosales, a 31-year-old man, died following a traffic accident that occurred on Pearblossom Highway on July 7, Thursday.
The Antelope Valley Times reported Rosales was riding a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja heading west on Pearblossom Highway in the number one lane. For reasons still unclear, the motorcyclist did not slow down as he approached a 2018 Chevrolet Volt stopped in the same lane of the highway for a solid red light.
According to the article published online, Rosales slammed into the back of the Chevrolet. The force from the impact ejected the rider onto the roadway; where he was struck by an oncoming 2004 Nissan Frontier.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale
Responding paramedics sadly pronounced the motorcyclist dead. The violent crash took place around 5 a.m. After authorities notified the next of kin of the deceased, they identified him as Ronald Rosales of Palmdale.
Meanwhile, the drivers of the Chevrolet and the Nissan both appeared unharmed after the collision.
Investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly accident happened on Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale.
