Man Dies in Hit-and-Run Collision on Yosemite Avenue
Modesto, CA (February 8, 2023) – Ronald Swindle, a 68-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries following a pedestrian accident that occurred on Yosemite Avenue.
On February 8, Wednesday, a vehicle struck the elderly man in the area near Santa Ana Avenue in Modesto. The horrible crash took place around 6:53 a.m., the Modesto Bee News reported.
Deadly Pedestrian Accident in Modesto
When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately rendered aid to the person found lying on the ground. Paramedics performed life-saving measures to the victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away. Modesto Police Department later identified the deceased as Ronald Swindle.
According to the article published online, the driver involved in the catastrophic incident fled the scene. No immediate information was available on the hit-and-run suspect.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate several unclear factors surrounding the deadly accident that happened on Yosemite Avenue in Modesto.
