Pedestrian Killed on 405 Collector Road in Inglewood
INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Jan. 26, 2021) – Ronnie Rogers, 64, of Los Angeles, pedestrian was struck and killed Monday morning on the San Diego (405) Freeway at Century Boulevard in Inglewood.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Coroner identified Ronnie Rogers released the name of the pedestrian who died on its website.
Also, the fatal Inglewood crash happened at 5:02 a.m. on Jan. 25th on the northbound collector road to the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Police issued a SigAlert at 5:32 a.m. and then closed down the collector road, the CHP said.
There was no information provided about what led to the crash. Furthermore, it’s unknown if anyone else was hurt in the Inglewood crash.
Meanwhile, investigators with the CHP will determine fault for the fatal crash.
Pedestrian accidents continue to rise in Los Angeles County, despite efforts to reduce the number of these crashes under the Vision Zero plan.
