Rosamond Multi-Vehicle Accident, West Avenue A
Rosamond, Calif. (August 3, 2023) — A car accident happened Thursday morning near State Route 14 Highway, on West Avenue A, in Rosamond California.
The collision occurred about 11:54 a.m. on August 3rd, near Highway 14 in Kern County according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
A semi truck and a sedan crashed into each other causing major blockage on the roadway. The sedan supposedly clipped the semi truck causing it to drive off the highway. It was reported that both vehicles went through a fence following the initial hit, the semi though turned over on its side. An additional vehicle was also reported to be in the center divide following the collision.
The fire department in the Kern County area arrived along with the paramedics. They responded to help those hurt in the crash. Meanwhile, tow trucks were called on the scene to help remove all the debris that was blocking the road. Also it was reported that the small sedan receive major rear and damage.
Investigators are working on the case to determine who is at fault.
