1 Seriously Injured in Crash on Sierra Highway Near Rosamond Boulevard

ROSAMOND, CA (November 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash on Sierra Highway in Rosamond.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on November 2 at about 4: 53 p.m.

According to their dispatch team, a gray Cadillac and a red Ford F-150 collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed 3575 Sierra Highway, just north of Rosamond Boulevard.

2 Cars Collide in Rosamond

CHP said the Cadillac obtained major front-end damage and lost its left front tire upon impact. The pickup truck came to a stop with major driver’s side damage and flat front wheels.

Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found an occupant of the Cadillac who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.

Meanwhile, CHP forced a stretch of Sierra Highway to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Rosamond crash is still under investigation.
