1 Killed in Rosamond Head-On Crash on Mojave Tropico Road Monday
ROSAMOND (August 6, 2018) – A fatal traffic collision occurred in the area of Mojave Tropico Road and West Rosamond Boulevard on Monday evening, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
The accident was reportedly shortly after 6 p.m.
CHP received a report about two vehicles which for an unknown reason collided head-on on Mojave Tropico Road, a mile north of West Rosamond Boulevard.

Paramedics responded to the scene and confirmed that at least one person died as a result of the crash. The name of the deceased has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the report log also indicated that both the northbound and southbound sides of the roadway were forced to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
