Pedestrian Killed in Crash Near 25th Street and Rosamond Boulevard
ROSAMOND, CA (November 16, 2021) – A crash killed a pedestrian near 25th Street and Rosamond Boulevard.
According to an article published by the Kern Golden Empire, the tragic accident took place on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the collision at around 6:10 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Rosamond. The driver hit the person near the intersection of West 25th Street and Rosamond Boulevard.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near a Starbucks. They confirmed that the victim died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the person.
Officers forced the area of 25th Street and Rosamond Boulevard to shut down following the crash. The cause of the fatal pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
