Pedestrian Rose Brooks Hit by Vehicle on I-5 Saturday

 Rose Brooks Bakersfield Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 5Bakersfield, Calif. (October 14, 2020) – Rose Brooks, 69, of Seattle, Washington, died in a pedestrian accident occurred Saturday (Oct. 10th) on the Interstate 5 Freeway, according to KGET News.

A vehicle of unknown make and model struck the Seattle woman in the southbound lanes of I-5. The incident took place near Sabodan Street.

Pedestrian Accident in Bakersfield

Just after 6:59 p.m., paramedics arrived at the crash site and located Rose Brooks lying on the roadway. Paramedics treated the victim but officials later confirmed the pedestrian died as a result of the collision. The identity of the pedestrian was later released by the Kern County Coroner.

So far there have been no additional details about this collision revealed publicly. Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to work to determine exactly how and why the deadly pedestrian accident happened. It’s unknown at this time whether or not there were any eye witnesses.
