Dominguez Struck by Car while Crossing in Wheelchair
LAKE ELSINORE, California (July 10, 2016) – A 61-year-old woman in a wheelchair who was fatally struck by a vehicle on Sunday evening has been identified as Rose Dominguez, according to The Press Enterprise.
The collision occurred about 6:46 p.m. at the intersection of Graham and Kellogg streets. (map)
Riverside County Coroner’s Office said Dominguez was crossing the road when she was hit by a car. She was then transported to Inland Valley Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Dominguez was from Lake Elsinore.
Meanwhile, deputies said the driver involved stopped and cooperated with the authorities. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
