Suspected DUI Driver Arrested after Crash into LA Sheriff’s SUV in Rosemead
ROSEMEAD, Calif. (March 6, 2020) – Two sheriff’s deputies were injured Friday morning when their SUV was hit by a suspected drunken motorist at Jackson and Newmark avenues in Rosemead.
The suspect reportedly slammed into a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department vehicle that was responding to a call about 1 a.m. in the Rosemead area.
Police say the suspect crashed into the passenger side of the sheriff’s SUV. Paramedics responded and transported both deputies to a hospital as a precaution, police said.
Meanwhile, the driver who caused the crash was arrested on suspicion of DUI, police said.
