1 Killed, 1 Injured in Crash on 10 Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard
ROSEMEAD, CA (November 5, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured another on the 10 Freeway in Rosemead.
According to the KTLA News and CBS Los Angeles, the tragic accident on Saturday morning. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:10 a.m.
The incident happened when a big rig and two other vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. The three crashed on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Rosemead Boulevard.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The California Highway Patrol said the semi-truck rolled onto its side due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and confirmed that one individual died.
At least one other party ended up injured as a result of the accident. Medical personnel then rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The names of the deceased and wounded victims have not been yet released. Meanwhile, the cause of the fatal crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the eastbound lanes of the 10 Freeway to shut down for a time near Rosemead Boulevard following the wreck.
