Man, 61, Severely Injured in Rosemead Hit-and-Run on San Gabriel Boulevard
ROSEMEAD, CA (November 9, 2021) – A pedestrian was severely injured after a hit-and-run crash on San Gabriel Boulevard in Rosemead.
According to the KTLA News and My News LA, the accident took place on Monday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 10:38 a.m.
The incident happened on November 8 when a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in Rosemead. The driver hit him on San Gabriel Boulevard.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near, south of Garvey Avenue. They found the 61-year-old Asian man left lying on the ground as a result of the collision.

Medical personnel then took the victim to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The reports did not disclose his name and condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the motorist did not stop to help the man and fled the area. They described the car as a 2009 Nissan Altima.
Officers forced a stretch of San Gabriel Boulevard to shut down following the collision. The Rosemead -and-run crash is still under investigation.
