Pedestrian Seriously Injure din Rosemont Crash at Huntsman and Kiefer
ROSEMONT, CA (September 11, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after a crash at Huntsman Drive and Kiefer Boulevard in Rosemont.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident which involved a bicycle on Saturday morning. Officers reported the collision at about 8:34 a.m.
According to their dispatch, a vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in Rosemont. The driver hit the person at the intersection of Huntsman Drive and Kiefer Boulevard.
Victim Hit by Car
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Rosemont Community Park. They found the victim who sustained major injuries to their lower extremities as a result of the crash.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the motorist stopped and stayed at the site after hitting the victim. They described the car as a black Nissan Maxima or a Toyota Camry.
Officers forced the area of Huntsman and Kiefer to shut down for a time following the accident. The cause of the Rosemont pedestrian collision is still under investigation.
