Multi-Vehicle Collison on I-80 in Roseville, California

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Feb. 13, 2025) — A major injury crash in Roseville happened Thursday morning on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of Douglas Boulevard.

The multi-vehicle collision occurred at around 8:25 a.m. on Feb. 13th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported one person became trapped in their vehicle after the drivers of a white van, a tan Chevrolet Cobalt, and a silver Hyundai sedan collided.

It happened in the numbers one and two lanes of the freeway due to unknown circumstances.

Firefighters responded and extricated the person trapped in their vehicle and paramedics transported at least one person with major injuries to a hospital.

Investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 80 Freeway in Roseville, California.
