1 Dead, 4 Injured
ROSEVILLE, California (April 1, 2016) – A deadly 2-car collision occurred on Blue Oaks Boulevard on Thursday night, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The crash took place about 7:27 p.m. between Washington Boulevard and Packard Drive
Roseville Police Department said a woman in her 30s was going west on Blue Oaks Boulevard when she turned her Ford Mustang into the path of a Ford F-150 pickup that was also headed westbound.
The Mustang was then broadsided by the pickup with four people inside.
As per the article, the woman driving the Mustang identified as Inderjeet Kaur Virk, 50, of Folsom, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police added that a 6-year-old child was transported to the pediatric trauma center at UC Davis Medical Center following the accident. Three other occupants of the pickup were also taken to a local emergency room.
Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
