1 Killed in Roseville Crash on Eastbound Interstate 80 Thursday
ROSEVILLE, CA (April 22, 2021) – At least one was killed after a car crash along the Interstate 80 in Roseville.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the tragic accident occurred on Thursday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 9:43 p.m.
CHP said at least two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed on the eastbound side of the Interstate 80 near Douglas Boulevard in Roseville.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and then confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
The name of the deceased individual remains unreleased pending notification of next of kin. Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if any other party sustained injuries upon impact.
ABC 10 News and CBS Sacramento wrote that officials shut down all eastbound lanes of the Interstate 80 at Douglas following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Roseville crash is still under investigation.
