The fatal crash took place about 6:28 p.m. near Pleasant Street on Halloween night.
The Roseville Police Department and paramedics responded to the scene where they found the injured pedestrian and rushed him to a local hospital where he later died of his injuries.
The 62-year-old man driving the 1995 Ford Ranger who struck the pedestrian, stopped and was cooperative with police and their investigation. He told authorities he had been traveling southbound on Washington Boulevard when he struck the man. There is a crosswalk at the crash scene, but police are investigating whether the man was in the crosswalk or not at the time of the collision.
Police closed Washington Boulevard between Elefa and Grove Street to investigate the collision and determine liability.
