Suspect Sought in Hit-and-run Crash
ROSEVILLE, Calif. (Sept. 14, 2023) — A hit-and-run driver struck a bicycle rider in a car accident at Vernon Street and Cirby Way in Roseville.
The bicyclist suffered minor injuries in the 11 a.m. collision on Thursday, Sept. 14th, according to the Roseville Police Department.
The circumstances leading up to the collision between the vehicle and a 61-year-old man riding the bike are unknown at this time, according to ABC 10 News.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured cyclist to a hospital for treatment of minor, non-life threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities later located the suspect who is reportedly 19 years old, the report said.
The motorist was arrested on suspicion of a hit-and-run. The Roseville bicycle accident remains under investigation.
