Motorcyclist Injured in Crash with SUV on I-80 in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, Calif. (June 10, 2024) — A Roseville motorcycle accident happened Monday on the westbound Interstate 80 Freeway, just east of Douglas Boulevard.

The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 9:48 a.m. on June 10th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers and paramedics from the Roseville Fire Department responded to the crash scene and located the injured rider from the red Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A woman driving a grey Chevrolet Suburban SUV had reportedly struck the motorcyclist due to unknown circumstances. The rider went down in traffic lanes and sustained minor injuries described as road rash on both arms.

Paramedics transported the motorcycle rider to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of his or her injuries.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the damaged Harley Davidson motorcycle from the roadway.

Finally, the California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation.
